Reminder: Nov 18th Friday is the last day for Medical Benefits enrollment.

In this blog -

I am providing insurance plan related details like 

- comparing the previous year weekly premium rate with projected year weekly rates, 

- how much the rates increased per week, 

- and the annual premium amount we pay for each Medical plan available. 

Along with that, I have added two scenarios for each plan (one scenario for Individual, another one for Family) to give an idea about how much cost insurer will be paying for each medical plans.



P.S:

-      In general, insurance premium cost has been increased by 10%

-      No price changes for Vision (Eye Med) insurance




Plan #1 : CIGNA Enhanced






Plan #2 : CIGNA Standard







Plan #3 : CIGNA HDHP






Plan #4 : CIGNA MV







For consideration:

With the above details & scenarios, you can match the plans with your needs and enroll the right plan for you.

I am giving another example on how to choose between Plan #1 and Plan #2 below:

-      If you do not foresee any hospitalization for the coming year (touchwood), you can opt a plan with more deductible.

For example, between CIGNA Enhanced and CIGNA Standard è you can choose CIGNA Standard

Because, if you choose CIGNA Enhanced you will pay annual premium ~ $10,000 for family 

For CIGNA Standard you will pay annual premium ~ $9,000 for family
    (You can save $1000 if you do not have any hospitalization charges)
